-308 days :: working hard!

jason and i have been working on a LOT of things for the wedding. some things we've accomplished in the past week:
-met with the caterer
-had a cake tasting (aka bought cupcakes) downtown at abby girl sweets
-i found glitter stickers for the "i do" on my wedding heels
-bought all the side decorations for the side walls of the park and stairs at ikea
-bought our cupcake "stand"
-bought napkins for the reception
-started making tissue paper flowers (figured out the size!)
-got a K and a J cut in acrylic plastic for hanging at the wedding (really not sure what i'm doing with this yet i just like it)
-finished addressing all the save the dates! they are ready to go!


these candle holders will have green tealights in them and be on the stairs and between these:




they look better lit ^_^ but they are a neat little lantern, we may paint on them a bit.

our cupcake stand... it's a candle chandelier!



we are adding metal plates (also found at ikea) by sodering or glueing them to the candle holder part, then this will hang in this area of the venue:



also, i got the j & k letters...



they are neat and fun, i just dunno what to do with them yet.

next we are working on a DIY photobooth and cutting and polishing wine bottles to use as carafes on the tables!
