-86 days :: wedding programs & my first gift!

i started working on wedding programs today. i went through a lot of images online, and i designed part of a fan, which was my original idea. but then i realized, i really wanted something like rice thrown at us as we walk down the aisle, but the place we are having our wedding doesn't allow it. so why not bubbles, just like my sister did! i remember sitting on the bed in my mom's room with my sister and my sister wrote "stef and randy" and the date of their wedding on little tags with a silver marker and i tied them on. so i basically took her idea, albeit mine aren't champagne bottle bubbles, and made a 3.5 x 2.5 card to tie on. the front is a photo of jason and i and i'm going to have maybe 6-10 variations, then the back is the wedding party, our officiant, our musician, and our music selections

ALSO! i got my FIRST wedding gift today, a washcloth!!

the fiestaware my aunts ordered are shipping separately, so this little guy came all by his self! but thanks aunt nancy, uncle mike, micky, aunt terrie, and uncle jim! we really appreciate it all - and i hadn't ACTUALLY even looked at the color of these towels in person and now i know they will look great with our new blue and tan bathroom we are planning. and they don't look too bad with the peach either (but i'm not using anything until after the wedding!...i think ^_^)
